NEW TRAILS, VEHICLE PLANS FOR MILFORD SOUND • A $15 million project, due for completion mid-next year, is examining access and use of existing and new trails and huts in Fiordland National Park.

STARTING THEM YOUNG • Age, at either end, needn't be a barrier to outdoor adventuring. Here's a family with three young children that not only walk together but help others to enjoy doing so, too.
