The Shed

No 112 December 2023 - January 2024
Magazine

The Shed is Eclectic, informed and always fascinating, there is something to interest everyone in The Shed. Aimed at those with a few tools and perhaps a few clues, this is the magazine for real sheddies. Packed with ideas, projects, advice and peeks into other people’s sheds.

The Shed

MAKING MEMORIES

THE CATHEDRAL OF COLLECTING • Terry Dalton is a self-taught IT expert. He has run and sold a couple of successful Christchurch businesses: Action Alarms and The Computer Doctor. As a boy, Terry lived on a farm in mid Canterbury; he likes the countryside and now lives on a few rural acres. He is interested in collectables of the ’50s, ’60s, and ’70s, and has a few classic cars and motorcycles. Having the space, he had a very large shed built behind his residence to house his collections. Big as it is, the shed is – almost inevitably – not quite big enough

2023 AUCKLAND BLADE SHOW • An ancient art that has an appeal for all ages

2023 Auckland Blade Show Award Winners:

KIWI-BUILT MOTORBIKE SHOW • Could it be NZ’s isolation at the bottom of the world that inspires Kiwis to tackle near-impossible tasks?
