To celebrate the big ideas, bold moves and successes, great and small, we present the Gourmet Traveller Hospitality Honours List.

GIVING BACK • We salute those who reached out to the wider community, spearheaded charitable efforts and offered practical support for the industry at large.

FINE-DINING DELIVERY • Outstanding examples of high-end, standard-setting food delivered with integrity, quality and heart.

PIVOTING HARD • From take-home ramen packs to a drive-through pasta shop, these quick and clever pivots set high standards and paved the way for others.

BAKERY + PRODUCE PROS • Leaders in transformation, these restaurants and stores supplied baked goods and gourmet groceries at a time when supermarket shelves were empty.

QUARANTINI TIME • A toast to the clever booze offerings that helped us see our glasses as half full (with delicious drinks) instead of half empty.

HONOURABLE MENTIONS • Outside of restaurants and bars, we saw friends of the industry rally to offer all manner of support.

NEW IN TOWN • Opening a new restaurant is always challenging. Opening a new restaurant and weathering the storm of 2020 requires Herculean levels of grit, determination and resilience. We toast the best new openings around Australia from the past 12 months.
