The Cava D.O., in a press release issued on 31 January, stated that it had been a question of timing that had prevented the parties from reaching agreement, despite the fact that both parties shared a prime objective: the creation of demarcated areas within the D.O.

THE FIRST WINE PARIS DELIVERS ON ITS PROMISE • The first Wine Paris has set the benchmark as a key event in the wine trade calendar, with an attendance of 26,700 wine trade professionals, including 30% buyers and communicators from outside France. The United States, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands topped the international visitors list, making up 51% of international visitors.
